The Host

The Host is a romantic science fiction novel written by Stephenie Meyer.

Plot:

The Souls are “invading aliens” that want to dominate the Earth because they think that humans are violent. They need bodies to survive. The Souls have to do their duty but Wanderer has a problem, her host resists to leave her body. They share their body but, unfortunately, also their heart. Wanderer falls in love with Jared and this causes a love triangle.

The Host is going to be a trilogy followed by The Seeker and The Soul.
