Oxford

Oxford is a city in South East England. The city is known because there is the Univesity of Oxford or Oxford University, one of the most prestigious univesity in the world. Oxford is also known as “the city of dreaming spires”.

It has got 28 nature reserves and you can take a walk around these parks.

Oxford city centre has got many shops, theatres and an ice rink. The historic buildings made it a popular target for film. An example is the Bodleian Library, which appeared in Harry Potter’s films.

You can see many things in Oxford and Oxfordshire: Blenheim Palace, Cotswold Wildlife Park and Gardens, Crocodiles of the world. There are many museums in Oxfordshire: Pendon Museums, Didcot Railway Centre. You can visit Bodleian Library, Christ Church Cathedral, Oxford Botanic Garden and Sheldonian Theatre.
