Chayanne

Elmer Figueroa Arce was born on 28 June 1968. He is the third of five siblings. He is a Puerto Rican singer. He is called Chayanne by many people because when he published his first album he said Chayanne is my name. In 1984 he abandoned the group  “Los Chicos” and he decided to be a soloist singer. He sold over 30 million albums.

In 1998 he was the protagonist in a film called “Dance with me”. In this film he worked with Vanessa Williams. Rafael Infante was a character that Chayanne interpreted and Ruby Sinclair was Williams. The director of film was  Randa Haines.

In 2014 Chayanne released his album “En todo Estaré”. He was two years without publishing a musical album. At the moment Chayanne is living in Miami, he married to Venezuelan Marilisa Maroness. And they have two children: Lorenzo Valentino and Isadora Sofia.
