Barcelona is a city in Catalonia, Spain. It is the second most populated city in Spain after Madrid. Today, Barcelona is recognized as a global city for its cultural, commercial and touristic importance.
Barcelona has a humid climate. This place has some amazing sites that you can visit at any time, for example, The Basílica i temple Expiatori de la Sagrada Familia: The church is a large Roman Catholic designed by Catalan architect Antonio Gaudí. If you want to walk, we’ll also highlight the castle of Montjuic with magnificent views.
The Olimpic Estadi can also be noted, originally built in 1927 for the 1929 international Exposition in the city. The stadium has a capacity of 55,926 and is located in the Anella Olimpica, in Montjuic, a large hill to the southwest of the city which overslooks the harbour.
Another place to visit is Las Ramblas, a street in central Barcelona, popular with tourists and locals alike. A tree lined pedestrian mall, it stretches for 1,2 km connecting Placa de Catalunya in the centre with the Christopher Colombus Monument at Port Vell.
Another place to visit and learn about monuments is: Catalunya en miniatura. Catalunya en miniatura is a miniature park inaugurated in 1983 in Torrelles the Llobregat, 17 km from Barcelona. It is one of the largest miniature parks in the world, and the largest of the 14 miniature building exhibitions present in Europe.
