Many people in the United States celebrate Christmas Day on December 25th. The date celebrates Jesus Christ’s birth. It is often combined with customs from pre-Christian winter celebrations. Many people erect a Christmas tree, decorate their homes, visit family or friends and exchange gifts. usually many people decorate their homes and gardens with lights, Christmas trees and much more. People decorate their neighbourhood or a shopping mall, putting up a Christmas tree. A lot of plays and songs have a aspect of Chistmas as a theme. The original meaning of Christmas is a special church service, or mass, to celebrate Jesus Christ’s birth. The festival in the USA ends with the celebration of the winter solstice in December 25th in the Roman calendar.
