Audrey Hepburn was born on 4 May 1929 in Brussels. She was an actress, model and humanitarian. In England, Belgium, Netherlands she went to private schools. When the invasion of World War II occurred, she was living with her mother and they had to change their name. They moved to London when the war had finished. Here she studied ballet, model and started to be an actress. She got her first leading role in 1953 in the film Roman Holiday. Seven years later Breakfast at Tiffany’s was premiered, becoming an icon of the cinema. She belonged to many NGOs. In 1993 she died because of a stomach cancer.
