Jackson, one of the most influential artists of all-time.

Date of Birth, 29 August 1958. Gary, Indiana, USA.

Date of Death, 25 June 2009. Los Angeles, California, USA (homicide).

Jackson’s house was always filled with music.  Jackson’s mother taught the children folk and religious songs, to which they sang along. Jackson’s father, who worked at a steel plant, had always dreamt of becoming a successful musician. Michael Jackson started in the music business at the age of 5 with his brothers as a member of The Jackson 5, and he soon became the dominant voice.

In the early 1980s, Jackson became a dominant figure in popular music and now he is recognized as the most successful entertainer of all time by Guinnes World Records. Jackson’s sound, style and dance moves inspired subsequent generations of pop, soul, R&B and hip-hop artists.

In 2009, Michael Jackson had been planning to start a series of comeback concerts in London and had been rehearsing in Los Angeles area for the previous two months. Promoters of the shows had said in March that he had passed a lengthy physical examination.

But, finally his physician, Dr. Conrad Murray , was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter nearly two and a half years after Jackson’s shocking death at age 50.
