“Twilight Saga”

The Twilight Saga is a series of novels by Stephanie Meyer. It consists of five books.

Twilight, a Dangerous Love (2005)

Isabella Swan (Bella) is a young girl who feels that she doesn’t belong anywhere and she thinks she is weird. After her mother’s wedding she decides to move to Forks (Washington), where her father lives, this place is cold and it never stops raining and she doesn’t like rain. Her life changes when she meets Edward Cullen, a handsome and strange boy who unveils he is a vampire, he and his family are. But she falls in love with him, trusting her life to the fullest.

New Moon (2006)

The plot revolves around Edward’s belief that they must be separated to keep Bella alive. This decision sinks Bella in a depression until she becomes a very good friend of Jacob Black, a friend of childhood.

This book finishes in Italy, with The Volturi thinking about killing Edward, but Bella warns him. However, Bella is judged and threatened she will be killed if she doesn’t become a vampire in a short time.

-Eclipse (2007)

The relationship between Edward and Bella goes into distress when Bella doubts of her feelings towards Jacob, this creates a confrontation between “werewolves” and vampires but at the end they come together to protect Bella and their territory from neophytes.

-Breaking Down (2008)

This last part tells Bella and Edward’s wedding and honeymoon that result in her pregnancy, so they decide to go back to Forks, while something is growing  inside which weakens her, but Edward’s final support and Jacob’s assimilation make Renesme’s birth possible, whom Jacob imprimints.

-The Short Second Life Of Bree Tanner: an Eclipse Novella (2010)

This Saga was filmed and directed by Catherine Hardwicke, the distribution of the films was different, because the film Breaking Down was divided in two, there was a first part and second part because of its large plot.
