Sonata Arctica

Sonata Arctica is a Power Metal band formed in Finland in 1996. The actual members are Tony Kakko (singer), Henrik Klingenberg (keyboardist), Elias Viljanen (lead guitarist), Marco Paasikoski (Bass guitarist) and Tommy Portimo (drummer). They are one of the most important power metal bands in the world. A lot of bands are influenced by Sonata Arctica. In their first months, they weren’t a power metal band, they were more rock’n’roll, but in 1999-2000 they composed the demo FullMoon and then they sent it to record label Spinefarm. Finally they became a power metal band and they have  published six records so far.
