He was born in Marseille (France) on the 23rd of June 1972. His parents Ismail and Malika were from Algeria. He was the youngest child. When he was 14 he went to a football team, Cannes. In 1993 he married Veronique Zidane, a French dancer of Spanish origin, they had four children. When he played in Girondins de Bourdeaux he was 20.
In 1996 he joined Juventus one of the most famous football teams in the world. In 2001 he started playin in Real Madrid team.
In 2006 he retired because he had a problem with other players and in the world cup he attacked an Italian football player. He had mistakes and at the moment he works in Real Madrid footbal team.
