The Three Wise Men

The Three Wise Men are also called Magical Kings in Spain. They are said to have visited Jesus after his birth and given him presents of gold, incense and myrrh. Their names are: Melchior, Caspar and Balthasar.

These names apparently derive from a Greek manuscript probably composed in Alexandria.

-Melchior:  He’s got a long white beard and a long black and red tunic.

-Caspar: He’s got a brown beard and a green and black tunic.

-Balthasar: He’s a black man and he’s got a black goatee and a blue tunic.
